We project manage small to large projects regularly for our customers. As a one-stop-shop, this is one of the services we provide and a real benefit for any boat owner who is after efficiency, reliability and good value for money.

A customer purchased a 29-foot Riviera from South Australia, and the boat was in need of an engine, amongst other things, so he got in touch with us. We priced him a single engine installation, but due to the global pandemic effect on stock levels, the plans had to be changed to two smaller engines. The change in plans, unfortunately, meant a slightly bigger scope of work as well; hull modifications to secure the two engines and the required modifications for the two stern drives.

While living in North Queensland himself, we project managed the work for him, and the boat made a pit stop at our workshop on the Gold Coast.

The main work was done around the engines. We also completed dash modifications, all new electronics, GPS, sound systems, 3D imaging system, a new radar dish on the roof, autopilot system, antifouling and detailing for the boat. We sourced the parts and undertook the work, but the actual project management of all of this came with no additional costs. This comes with our standard service!

The owner came down to the Gold Coast for water testing, after which he flew back up north, and we organised for the boat to be lifted on a truck again and make its way to Townsville.
